Terms of Use — PingMeMeds

These terms apply to the PingMeMeds app for Android and PingMeMeds Pro, published by Appswalaa (Sunil Tandon). By using the app you agree to them.

What PingMeMeds is

PingMeMeds reminds you to take medicines at the times you set, and keeps a record of doses and health readings on your phone.

Not medical advice

PingMeMeds is a reminder and record-keeping tool. It does not give medical advice, does not check whether a medicine, dose or schedule is right for you, and does not check for interactions. Decisions about your treatment are for you and your doctor. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Reminders depend on your phone

Reminders are delivered by Android. A phone that is switched off, out of battery, set to silence apps, or restricted by battery or "autostart" settings can delay or stop a reminder. The app shows what your phone needs in Settings → Reminder check. Please check that reminders work on your phone (Send a test reminder) and do not rely on the app as your only safeguard for critical medicines.

Your data

Everything you enter stays on your phone, as described in the privacy policy. You are responsible for keeping your own backups. If you lose or reset your phone without a backup file, the data cannot be recovered by us.

PingMeMeds Pro

Pro adds family members, refill reminders, health charts and the doctor report. It is sold through Google Play:

• Monthly renews automatically each month until you cancel it in Google Play (Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• Lifetime is a one-time purchase that unlocks Pro for as long as the app is offered, on the Google account used to buy it.
• If a free trial is offered, it turns into a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before then.
• Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Payments, renewals and refunds are handled by Google Play under its policies.
• Restore purchase in the app checks Google Play again, for example on a new phone.

If Pro ends, nothing you entered is deleted, and reminders for people you already added keep ringing.

Acceptable use

Do not copy, modify, resell or reverse-engineer the app, or use it in a way that breaks the law or Google Play's policies.

Liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Appswalaa is not liable for any loss or harm arising from a missed, late or incorrect reminder, or from relying on the information in the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. The new version is published at this address with a new date; continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
